Smartron has released an update to its 2016 t.book, called the tbook flex. This tablet-style 2-in-1 is quite small and portable, and there's not a lot of choice when it comes to such devices in this price range. We liked its eye-catching looks and we're happy to note that the keyboard cover is included with the tablet itself. However, we found that in use the rear did get very hot, and performance is somewhat limited thanks to the lower-power CPU. This is a good device for frequent travellers who don't have very demanding work to do, but buyers should consider that they can get much more powerful laptops at the same price.
