Acer has created a unique budget 2-in-1 PC that offers some great features and is much more comfortable to use than its competitors, but makes a few compromises along the way. Rather than a flimsy folding cloth-backed keyboard, there’s a solid base with an integrated 500GB hard drive. However the screen is one of the weakest we’ve ever seen, connectivity is limited to a single USB 2.0 port, and there isn’t much processing power to tap into. The Acer One is small and light enough to toss in any bag, but if you’re concerned about getting work done on the go, you can safely ditch the touch and tablet features and invest in a vanilla budget laptop instead.
